The Bengals might have lost, but they still made Cincy proud
Even though the Cincinnati Bengals lost the Super Bowl, they still made the Greater Cincinnati region proud. If you still want to cheer on your favorite home team and relish in the almost-victory, here are local ways to make the best of the Super Bowl loss.
Eat at Skyline Chili
There is nothing more Cincinnatian than Skyline Chili, which is why it’s the best thing to eat when you need a pick-me-up. Chow down on a 3-Way or some Cheese Coneys to make that loss feel a little bit better. Cincinnati may not have the Lombardi Trophy, but we do have some of the greatest chili around.
Walk Around Fountain Square
One of the most frequented and photographed spots in the city is Fountain Square. You can walk around, shop, eat, and take in the sights. If you really want to take your mind off the Super Bowl, try ice skating or bumper cars at Fountain Square’s Ice Rink until Feb. 21
Eat at Graeter’s Ice Cream
Ice cream always makes everything better, right? If the Bengals loss is getting you down, try a scoop (or two) of Graeter’s signature Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip Ice Cream to cheer you up. If you still need a Cincinnati team to root for, try Boldly Bearcat, a rich blend of mascarpone ice cream, Oreos, and chocolate chips. Who’s winning now?
