Temperatures are rising throughout the Tri-State, which means it’s the perfect time to cool down and hit the pool. If you’ve been looking for a local pool or splash pad to use, have no worries. We’ve rounded up the best pools and splash pads in Northern Kentucky.
The Florence Aquatic Center offers some of the best summer fun in NKY. Between a lazy river, accessible zero depth pool, competition pool, two spray grounds, a spiral and speed slides, sunbathing areas, shelters, funbrellas, bathhouse, and concessions area—you’re bound to find something for everyone in the family.
You can either sign up for an annual membership or you can pay a daily admission fee to enter the facility.

If you’re a Covington resident in possession of a pool pass, you can visit Goebel Park seven days a week.
Goebel Park features a public pool, picnic shelters, gazebo, playground, grills, and walking trails. Pack a picnic and gather up the whole family for a day of fun at one of the best parks in NKY.

The City Center Park opened in May 2021. If you haven’t visited yet, you’re missing out. This park features two shelters, a playground, a splash pad, basketball court, tennis practice wall, pitching wall, two pickleball courts, two sand volleyball courts, concession stand, and restrooms.
The splash pad is open throughout the summer months, weather permitting, and is bound to keep your little ones occupied and cool in the sun.
