Fall is officially here, which means it’s time to bust out the sweaters, sip on apple cider, and carve pumpkins. Northern Kentucky has plenty of farms and pumpkin patches to choose from where you can fulfill all your fall bucket list items.  

Country Pumpkins 

Country Pumpkins, established in 2000 by the Colson and Pennington families, is one of the best pumpkin patches around. With a variety of pumpkin and other seasonal gourds, you’re bound to find the perfect pumpkin.  

The fall fun doesn’t stop there. Country Pumpkins hosts a Fall Festival each year that’s filled with hay rides, corn mazes, train rides, slides, a petting zoo, and chucking pumpkins. Yeah, you read that correctly. If you’ve ever wanted to see what happens when you chuck a pumpkin as hard as you can, you’re in luck.

Neltner’s Farm 

Neltner’s Farm welcomes families to their farm every autumn to celebrate the harvest. The farm features a pick-your-own-pumpkin-patch, horse-drawn wagons, corn maze, petting zoo, barrel train, farm shop, and a model train display. Sugar Ridge Family Farm 

Pumpkins and honey and maple syrup—oh my! There are plenty of seasonal fall goodies to find at Sugar Ridge Family Farm. Take a hayride over to a pumpkin patch where you can find your soon-to-be Jack-o-Lantern.
