The B-Line introduces new stops, bourbon-themed merchandise and events to celebrate its fifth anniversary
If you’re a bourbon enthusiast, you can’t miss The B-Line’s new stops, merchandise or special events.
National Bourbon Day was June 14, and to celebrate, the B-Line, Northern Kentucky’s bourbon trail, included five new stops to on its self-guided bourbon tour: Pompilio’s in Newport, Ky., Revival Vintage Bottle Shop, Lisse Steakhuis and Knowledge Bar & Social Room in Covington, Ky. and Caproni’s on the River in Maysville, Ky.
With these new additions, the trail has a total of 23 bourbon bars, craft distilleries and bourbon-centric restaurants for visitors to explore.
“We launched The B-Line in 2018 as a way to remind people that Northern Kentucky is the gateway to Bourbon Country,” says meetNKY President and CEO, Julie Kirkpatrick.
Millions of people drive down I-75 or fly into CVG annually to visit Kentucky’s Bourbon Trail, so the purpose of The B-Line is to target the bourbon curious audience on an international scale.
Besides the new additions and National Bourbon Day festivities, The B-Line also launched a new line of merchandise designed by BLDG, including t-shirts featuring bourbon-centric puns, hats, and glasses. Visitors can stop by each participating business along Northern Kentucky’s Bourbon Trail to get the new merch and complete their B-Line passport, which can be acquired at any official B-Line location.
The stops along The B-Line are also offering specials and hosting events like the B-Line Happy Hour every Wednesday.
“There’s no better way to celebrate National Bourbon Day, a holiday created to recognize the high standards for distilling and celebrating ‘America’s Native Spirit’ than by adding these five new spots for visitors and locals to enjoy!” Kirkpatrick says.
