Take a bite out of a classic burger from BRU Burger Bar in Fort Mitchell
It’s hard to say no to a good burger, and BRU Burger Bar is paying homage to an American classic with its 13 area locations, including one right here in Northern Kentucky. “We take the love of a classic burger and make it our own by creating gourmet-style chef burgers that guests have come to know and appreciate,” says Bailey Chatterton, marketing coordinator at Cunningham Restaurant Group, the parent company behind BRU Burger Bar.
BRU Burger Bar was started by Cunningham Restaurant Group’s founder, Mike Cunningham, who was able to bring the idea of BRU to life with a talented and experienced culinary team.
When you dine at BRU Burger Bar you’ll find more than 20 carefully crafted burgers and sandwiches. “Each one is better than the last and completely customizable,” says Chatterton. “You can start the meal with one of our incredible appetizer offerings such as beer-battered onion rings served with house-made ketchup and complete it with a local draft beer or craft cocktail.”
With so many burgers available, it may be hard to choose just one at BRU. Some of the burgers available at the restaurant include the BRU Burger (taleggio cheese, bacon, tomato jam, caramelized onion, lettuce and mayonnaise), the Bourbon (bacon, peppercorn-bourbon glaze and horseradish Havarti) and The End (horseradish Havarti, over-easy egg, tomato, caramelized onion, lettuce and truffle aioli). “Our goal is to bring you great burgers made from the best local meats, topped with the freshest ingredients and placed in our freshly baked buns,” adds Chatterton.
In addition to a robust burger menu, BRU Burger Bar also serves up American classics such as chicken wings, a variety of salads, sandwiches such as the BRU Hot Chicken, a kids menu and desserts.
BRU Burger Bar continues to grow and is expecting to open a new Ohio location in the late spring 2023. “We are proud to be members of the Tristate community and look forward to growing our brand in surrounding areas,” adds Chatterton.
