Zoe Grace Salon & Med Spa owner pampers her clients while nurturing her team
Zoe Grace Salon & Med Spa wants to help its clients—and its employees—feel their best.
Hand-picked and trained by spa owner Ella King, the team works together to create opportunities and support each other on a day-to-day basis. King believes that by focusing on developing and nurturing her team members, she’s making the client experience better.
“We believe everyone is created with a purposeful inner beauty and their look should be personalized so it can reflect that inner beauty,” explains King. “We offer an exclusive, five-star experience to make our guests feel welcomed, valued and first class.”
King’s experience in the industry led her to open Zoe Grace in 2018, aiming to create a team-based atmosphere that offered opportunities in continuing education.
“I learned that you can go so much further collectively as a team while allowing each member to have real financial freedom,” she says.
The upscale, trendy salon and med spa strives to transform the lives of its clients. King says the team of professionals behind the chair find fulfillment in pampering guests, providing an experience they won’t receive anywhere else.
Zoe Grace offers a number of salon and med spa services including microneedling, Botox, fillers, chemical peels, Kybella, hair coloring, haircuts (including specialty cuts for curly hair), hair extensions, Brazilian Blowout treatments, formal style updos, bridal services, airbrush makeup application, waxing, eyelash lifts and tints and eyelash extensions.
King’s background includes extensive experience in the industry. She is recognized as a Holland-Certified Keune Academy Trainer and National Educator. She’s also been voted the Best Hair Colorist in NKY and is a hair extension specialist.
Additionally, the team she works with is hand-picked. These experts are brought on and trained by King so that she is able to ensure her team members are reflecting the mission of the salon while also setting themselves up for success. King says the spa’s training program works like a teaching hospital but in the hair and beauty industry.
“We have character goals each month and they take precedence above all else,” she adds.
Zoe Grace has won a number of regional awards and was voted Best Hair Salon by NKY Magazine readers in 2022. King says her team’s skillset makes Zoe Grace stand out.
“We have several signature services like our Beauty Analysis and signature Zoe Grace Shampoo. You cannot find these things anywhere else because I spent countless hours doing research and creating them step-by-step,” King says. “We also do in-house training once a week for our service providers, which is unlike any other salon spa in the area.”
