New café next to 513 Lagree blends fitness, local flavor and neighborhood connection 

In the heart of Covington, at 324 W. Pike St., a new café has opened its doors: 513 Coffee. The shop officially launched Nov. 1 and is located next to 513 Lagree, a pilates-style fitness studio. The two share the same space and ownership, creating a crossover spot that welcomes early morning fitness crowds and casual coffee seekers alike. 

The founder behind both is Rebecca Riegelsberger, who also serves as treasurer and senior vice president of tax at the E.W. Scripps Co. in downtown Cincinnati.  

On its website, 513 Coffee describes itself as “rooted in Covington: our mission is to create a warm, welcoming space where friends meet, ideas flow and every cup is crafted with care.” The beans come from Deeper Roots Coffee Company, a Cincinnati-based roaster known for ethical sourcing and direct trade practices.  

The café’s Instagram reinforces the message: “Your third place. Come for the coffee, stay for the community. Brewing @deeperrootsdrc coffee seven days a week” at 324 W. Pike St. 

While the shop offers standard espresso drinks such as cappuccinos and lattes, it also features a few signature items. Among these are a Nutella Dream Latte and a Honey Kissed Latte made with honey, vanilla and cinnamon. Oat and almond milk is also available.  

513 Coffee also partners with North South Baking Co., located nearby, to offer pastries. The partnership highlights the café’s focus on supporting local businesses and using neighborhood-sourced products. They’re offering croissants, danishes and cinnamon rolls all day long.
