Send Summer out with a Boom

Send Summer out with a Boom

Snag a spot to view fireworks at one of these NKY locations

Summer is on its way out, but the Cincinnati region still has a few more events to celebrate. The annual WEBN Fireworks—an end-of-summer-blowout event—is slated for Sept. 4. There will be festivities throughout the day including music and food. The fireworks are set to dazzle at 9:00 p.m. for around 30 minutes. If you don’t feel like crossing the river to the Ohio side, there are plenty of spots on our side of the river for you.

The Purple People Bridge

If you’re willing to shell out a few hundred dollars, you can snag one of the best seats in the area to view the fireworks. Boom on the Bridge is a fundraiser event with proceeds going to maintaining and restoring the iconic purple bridge.

There are various ticket pricing levels and availability may be limited. Tickets may include unobstructed views of the fireworks and city skyline, live music, food and drinks, champagne toast, and Purple People Bridge gifts.

Newport on the Levee

If you can’t afford a ticket to the Purple People Bridge, don’t sweat it. You can still enjoy wicked views of the fireworks from Newport on the Levee. Starting at 12:00 p.m. and lasting until the fireworks in the evening, there will be fun events scattered throughout the Levee. Enjoy face painting, caricatures, inflatable soccer games, live music, food drinks and more. Bring your friends and family and enjoy the end of summer together.

Devou Park

If you’re looking to enjoy the fireworks without all the festivities and crowds, head over to Devou Park. Bring your own lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy beautiful views of Cincinnati and Covington as fireworks sparkle and dazzle above.
