Where to Celebrate the Fourth in Northern Kentucky

Whether you’re looking for evening fireworks or a festival to last all weekend, Northern Kentucky has no shortage of ways to celebrate Independence Day. 

Edgewood Independence Day Extravaganza 

Edgewood’s full-day celebration is celebrating the 63rd annual rendition of the parade. In the evening, the Derek Alan Band takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. in Presidents Park. Fireworks begin at dusk, with a rain date set for July 6.

Bellevue Red, White & Boom 

Hosted at Bellevue Vets, this community event features live music beginning at 7 p.m. Fireworks light up the riverfront at dusk, offering views along the Ohio.

Independence Fourth of July Festival 

This two-day event includes carnival rides, family-friendly entertainment and fireworks both nights at 10 p.m. Saturday also features the city’s annual parade at 3 p.m. before the community celebrating keeps the party until midnight.
