There are several Mother’s Day events this weekend to celebrate Mom

Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 11 and plenty of spots throughout the city are offering everything from garden tea to dance performances to salad bars and more, making the day feel special. Here are some brunches around the city for those looking to treat the mothers in their lives. 

Mother’s Day at Augusta Distillery 

Augusta’s Distillery will invite mothers to join them on the Kentucky bourbon trail this Sunday for craft cocktails and live piano music. Highlighting their signature cocktail, The Paper Plane, visits to the distillery can enjoy their bourbon-based beverage while musician Dave Lewis fill the space with live jazz.

Mother’s Day Brunch at Smoke Justis 

Offering “bourbon, brunch and a damn good time,” Smoke Justis at Roebling Point in Covington will be offering their normal menu, along with some “brunch favorites.” In addition to the food, $16 mimosa pitchers will be available along with whole bottles of champagne and specialty cocktails.

Mother’s Day Brunch at Summit Hills Country Club 

The Summit Hills Country Club in Crestview Hills will host a Mother’s Day brunch featuring a menu filled with seafood, a custom pasta bar and assorted desserts. Packed with everything from“fresh and light to warm and hearty,” the diverse menu is sure to please mothers with any palate.
