At Newport Aquarium, you can enjoy “Sea of Love,” a Valentine’s Day event including delicious food stations amid some of the world’s most exotic aquatic life. Some of the food options include charcuterie, shrimp cocktail, risotto balls, mini beef wellingtons, chocolate covered strawberries and a complimentary champagne toast. BB Riverboats will be setting sail on Valentine’s Day for its Dinner Cruise. Spend the night with your better half enjoying a river cruise and buffet dinner which includes balsamic strawberry salad, Boursin stuffed chicken breast, prime rib, herbed orzo pasta, dark chocolate mousse tart and red velvet torte. There is a cash bar available, and entertainment is provided by a DJ on board.

Family Valentine’s Day at the Post
If you’re planning on spending Valentine’s Day with the family, check out Family Valentine’s Day at the Post Taps & Bottle Shop in Fort Thomas. There will be free Singo and cookie decorating with dinner, and the whole crew can enjoy a fun-filled evening of games, sweet treats and quality time.

For those spending the holiday alone, you can try your luck at Unhinged Speed Dating. At Commonwealth Sanctuary comedy club in Dayton, Louisville stand-up comics Hillary Boston and June Dempsey will be hosting a “wild and fun speed dating night full of surprises.” The event will feature comedic elements that attendees will participate in, including pinatas, crafts, balloon animals and more. The organizers encourage attendees to come with an open mind and break out of their shells. The event is queer friendly, not exclusively dating focused and meant for ages 21-45.
